Work on the demo is well underway!

Hey fans!

We're working on the demo full time, in order to bring it to you crisp and flawless. I know we originally optimistically promised the demo in August, which is already past us... But, better to give you something worthy than half baked goods, I believe! This time, we're really getting closer to publishing it.

To give you a glimpse of what we're doing:

• We've deciding to hire a voice actor for Tobias, and we're currently dealing with a few candidates. 💬
  ​When playing other adventures I realized how important the voice acting actually is. And AI can't still cut it. So, we decided to hire a VA, at least for the main character, even though we're releasing only the demo. Other voices will be still made by AI, though, because we don't have the resources (mostly time) right now to do it. The full game will be completely made with VA, though!
• We're finalizing the locations & gameplay. 🌲
  ​There were some last minute decisions to redo parts of the demo, since I felt it's not "good-enough". A little delay that's definitely worth it.
• I'm producing the soundtrack. 🎷
  ​I always wanted to make the music for the game. There was a time where I almost decided to hire an external musician, because I already do a lot - but then I said "Screw it, music is my passion, I'll not take this away from myself." And it was for good! The soundtrack currently have 4 songs, from orchestral menu music to suspensful drones, and I have to add a few more to cover the demo.
• We're finishing the support game systems. 💻
  ​Menus, GUI, save system... We can't release it without! 😄
• Preparing the playtest & PR. 🎉
  ​If you're interested in playtesting, let me know (find me on discord)! If you have a youtube channel or are a streamer and want to cover the demo in your channels, also let me know and we work something out. For example, you might can an early access 😜.

So, what can you look forward to?

• Almost 1 hour of gameplay.
  ​Actually, that's a lot! We're thinking of reducing the scope.
• Meeting 3 main and 3 secondary characters.
  ​Includes Tobias, Juno and mage Thaddeus ✨.
• 6 distinct locations and full intro.
  ​Telling the story from the beginning.
